Terms of Service
These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Curated - Specialised Detailing’s services. By booking an appointment, you engage in our “service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “terms”). Please read them carefully.
1. Service Agreement
By scheduling a service with Curated - Specialised Detailing (“we”, “us” or “our”), the Client (“you”) agrees to the service, pricing quote and duration quote described at the time of booking via selected booking method (our website, email, phone call, or message system such as text message or Instagram messages). All services are subject to availability and all quotes are subject to change, as further explained in these Terms of Service.
2. Prices and Payment Terms
Our prices are presented as "starting from" and are subject to change depending on the scope of the service, including the number of hours required and the materials or products used. The final price for any service may differ from the listed starting price based on these factors.
By booking with us, you acknowledge that the price shown online is not a guaranteed final cost. While we will make reasonable efforts to inform you of any price adjustments before or during the service, we are not obligated to do so. Your acceptance of these changes is implied upon confirmation of the service.
We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time prior to the completion of the service based on the evolving needs of the service.
Payment is due in full at the completion of service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept cash, credit card, and bank transfer payments. An invoice for the provided services may be requested by you at any time. Failure to provide payment may result in a suspension of services.
3. Service Duration
The length of time for a service to be completed will be referred to as the “service duration”. The service duration begins at the time and date agreed upon by us and you for the drop-off of the motorcycle to be worked on by us, and concludes at the time and date set for you to pick up your motorcycle from us.
The service duration may be quoted by us at the time of booking or when you drop-off your motorcycle. This service duration quote is an approximation only.
By booking with us, you acknowledge that the service duration shown online or quoted by us is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to adjust service duration at any time before or during the service. We will make reasonable efforts to inform you of any service duration adjustments.
Service duration may be shortened or extended by us due to a variety of factors, which may include weather conditions, or minor factors existing on your motorcycle which were not obvious upon initial inspection. Any reason for a change in service duration by us will be to achieve the best outcome for your motorcycle.
As the Client, you may request a change to the drop-off or pick-up times and dates at any time before or during the service, however we hold the right to refuse or accept the change for any reason.
Changes to the service duration within the capacity described in this section of the terms will not change the price of the service. This does not refute our right to adjust prices as outlined in section 2 of these terms.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations: From the Client, we require at least twelve hours notice for any cancellations. In circumstances where we cancel a service (other than circumstances described below under ‘Being Late’), notice will be given within a reasonable amount of time of the scheduled drop-off time.
Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment up to twelve hours before the scheduled drop-off time without penalty. Rescheduling after this period may incur additional fees.
Being Late: We require reasonable notice of any lateness for scheduled appointments. Notice of lateness past thirty minutes of the scheduled drop-off time of the service (“grace period”) or no communication of the lateness will be considered a forfeit of the appointment time. In these circumstances, a reschedule of the appointment will be at our discretion. A late fee or rescheduling fee may also apply.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are expected to:
Provide accurate information about the service requested.
Ensure access to the motorcycle where services will be rendered.
Remove personal belongings from the vehicle before the service begins. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items.
6. Service Limitations
We strive to provide high-quality motorcycle detailing services but may not be able to remove all stains, blemishes, or defects. Some conditions may be beyond our capabilities (e.g., deeply ingrained stains, permanent damage). We will notify you if such limitations exist before, during, or upon completion of the service.
7. Liability
Curated - Specialised Detailing is not liable for:
Any pre-existing damage to the motorcycle.
Damage resulting from poor maintenance or existing conditions (e.g., rust, dents, scratches).
Items left in/on the vehicle during the service.
We will take every precaution to protect your vehicle during the service. Any claims of damage must be reported within seven days after the service is completed.
8. Refunds
Refunds or re-services will be considered on a case-by-case basis and provided at our discretion. Any request for a refund must be brought to our attention by the Client within seven days after the service is completed.
9. Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service while complying with applicable state and federal anti-discrimination legislation and consumer law. Reasons for refusing service may include the Client posing a safety risk for staff or other clients, the Client displaying abusive behaviour or language, or the Client previously breaking our terms (e.g. not arriving to or being late to previous service appointment(s) with no notice or notice outside our grace period, as described in section 4).
10. Gtechniq Guarantee
This section is applicable to a Client scheduling a service with us which involves the application of Gtechniq ceramic coating.
As a Gtechniq Accredited Professional Applicator we can offer the Gtechniq 9-year guarantee on Crystal Serum Ultra (CSU). We offer an inspection and maintenance wash for every 12-months of this guarantee, starting from the day the eligible Gtechniq ceramic coating is applied by us.
It is the Client’s responsibility to book and ensure the follow-up appointments are within the appropriate timeline as per the Gtechniq guarantee.
10.1. OEM Paint - Gtechniq Guarantee
While we will apply ceramic coating to various areas of your motorcycle as described to you before, during or after the service, it should be noted that the Gtechniq Guarantee applies to OEM paint finishes only. Therefore, parts such as, but not limited to, aftermarket fairings, aftermarket carbon fiber pieces, and custom paint will not be covered in the event of a claim under this guarantee.
10.2. Maintenance - Gtechniq Guarantee
It is recommended that the Client maintain their Gtechniq coating with appropriate Gtechniq products. Specific damage caused by non-Gtechniq products is an exclusion from the Gtechniq guarantee.

11. Photos
By agreeing to these terms, you are agreeing to us taking photos of your motorcycle. These photos may be used at any time by Curated - Specialised Detailing for a variety of purposes, which may include: social media posts, website content, and advertisement. Identifying factors, such as licence plates, will be blurred or otherwise omitted from images when used for these purposes.
12. Confidentiality and Privacy

13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and become effective immediately. Your continued use of our services following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or the service provided shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of Victoria, Australia.
